Prayer Focus for Today
Heavenly Father, Thank You for another week of studying Your word, and especially for a week of studying the resurrection account from Luke. I pray that the impact of Jesus’ rising from the dead will give me the passion necessary to live in Him not only throughout the remainder of this week, but every day! Fill me with Your Holy Spirit that all that I am and all that I do may bring You the glory and honor You deserve. This I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, today is Easter day, the day of resurrection! I pray that You will prepare my heart, and the heart of the people of New Life as we worship and praise You for vindicating Jesus and bringing Him out of the tomb alive! May You will receive all glory and honor, today and always. This I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
Worship
Take time to praise God for His great grace, and for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross! Praise Him that all that He has done has served to show us that He is, indeed, the one, true and living God!
Take time to confess your sins to God.
Take time to ask God for forgiveness of your sins.
Take time to share a song of praise to God.
Take time to rejoice in God’s blessings in your life.
